Dear Penn State Meteorology Alumni,

A 10-year reunion of the Penn State Meteorology Class of 2004 will be held on Saturday, November 8th.   Alumni who graduated in December 2003 and May 2004 along with their guests are invited to participate.

Dinner will be served at the Atherton Hotel in downtown State College starting at 6:30pm.  There will be no alcohol served at dinner, but Rumors bar in the Atherton Hotel will be open to purchase soda and alcoholic beverages that you can bring back to the banquet facility.  Alumni can join each other for a night on the town after dinner.  Please see itinerary below for the cost of dinner and entrée information.  The Meteorology department is kindly sponsoring the reunion and will provide $10/alumni for dinner, so the cost listed for meteorology alumni is reduced.

As an event sponsored by the Meteorology department, alumni who attend the reunion dinner  will need to gather at the Joel N. Myers Weather Center in 608 Walker Building on the University Park campus for a group picture.  Alumni will also need to submit a brief summary about what they’ve been doing since graduation – a sentence or two is sufficient.  It’s ok if you are not in the meteorology field currently!  This response should be emailed directly to Lisa Struthers in Microsoft Word format.

Please RSVP with the number of people in your party and everyone’s dinner choices by October 31 to Lisa Struthers or Frank Cianfrani by email if you are interested.  Please also indicate if you or your guests have any dietary restrictions for dinner.  Please mail checks for dinner before November 1 to me at:

All dinner selections include tomato & fresh mozzarella bruschetta with balsamic reduction, salad, twice baked potato, vegetable medley, dessert, warm rolls & butter, Columbian coffee, decaffeinated coffee, & iced specialty teas.
